That's so cool that you actually have a photo to capture that special moment. My husband was a photographer too, but didn't think about capturing it at the time.

And I love the story behind it all. It sounds like your husband is a hoot! Thanks for hosting Marriage Monday and sharing a great post with all of us!

LOVE the photos and that you did it a second time to get a picture. We did the same though we went and got my land lady so she could see the replay and take a photo. She was so emotional she took a funny shot and almost didn't get us in the picture. SECOND, your comment about humour is bang on! Oh we where really young and my in laws had only met me once for a short stop in so we had some fun reactions too. Thanks for sharing, I really enjoyed reading your husbands point of view! He is for sure funny.

Awww -- how romantic! Beautiful fun interview...love that you included the laughter!

This was a wonderful topic for early December, at least for me. Because of the rush and tensions of the holiday season, I typically find my attitude toward my husband deteriorating rapidly. This, of course, triggers the "crazy cycle" which is especially crazy -- and sad! -- when we're supposed to be celebrating God's greatest gift to us!

Pulling out the photos and writing the blog really helped me focus on how much I adore my man. I'm keeping the photos out, both because I need to finally get them framed (!) and to help me stay in this frame of mind throughout the holidays (and beyond!)

e-Mom, I really enjoyed your story. e-Dad sounds a bit like my own husband. I'm usually the uptight one around here and he's always trying to make me smile.

I loved the idea of having your husband give his account of that special day. I asked my own husband if he would write his version for our girls and he said yes, but I may be waiting a while :-)
