Is Commitment Obsolete?
It’s been a whirlwind around here the past few weeks. We’ll be loading up a van very soon and heading south to the Sonoran Desert—for good! I’ve missed visiting and chatting with you, but unfortunately, blogging has to be on hold until we move. (Sadly, I’m not a multi-tasker!)
We expect to be settled into our new home by the end of the summer. I plan to resume Marriage Monday (introduction) and general blogging both here at Chrysalis and Susannah’s {Kitchen} in early September.
Today’s Topic: Adultery
Meanwhile, today I’d like to give you the opportunity to link up. Since there’s been so much in the news about celebrity affairs, our group topic today is “adultery.” You’re invited to discuss any aspect you wish. Feel free to share your own experience and how you survived; your parents’ experience; your thoughts on Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger or John and Elizabeth Edwards. Or tell us: What does Scripture say about faithfulness, unfaithfulness, forgiveness, and divorce?
By the way, some time ago we tackled the related topic, “Is Divorce Ever Right?” Check out my post if you’re curious to know what the Bible teaches about adultery and divorce.

Summer Reading: Two Book Giveaways
I have two books to give away this month: Jesus My Son: Mary’s Journal of Jesus’ Early Life by Mary Bailey and the children's Read and Share Bible published by Tommy Nelson. If you would like to have your name added to my drawing for either of these books, just leave me a comment. The winners will be notified on Monday, June 13, 2011.

Hi e-Mom,
I'm so excited about this new adventure for you and e-Dad. I can't wait to hear all about it.
My friend, thank you for standing for Biblical marriage. You honor our Lord greatly. Hugging you.
Happy and blessed travels, Lynn
Well have fun with your move and all the adventures of this new season of life...it has to be exciting.
Well can't add anything here, I haven't experienced it, nor have my parents, or in-laws or even my siblings.
I have walked through it with a friend and after forgiving over and over again the marriage, because of other issues, came to an end after 36 years. I think a marriage can survive, but you add more and more to it and sometimes it is more than the other one can take.
oh I guess I'm too late to link up?? It is 8:30 pm on Wednesday evening..i thot your email said midnite....well, my post is up....what there is of it! lol....good luck with your move....when do you get to Arizona??
