VIDEO: The Beauty of Mathmatics

Fact or Foolishness?

Apparently, you love to think about the deeper things of life, dear reader! Your comments on Should a Christian Woman Think lead me to believe you would also enjoy this very cool "weekend wideo." (3:02 mins)

Faith, Tami, GlowinGirl, A Stone Gatherer, Sandra, Alicia, Bobbi, Constance, April, Bobbi, Shelley, Janette and Ann Onymous... Take a few minutes to watch and ponder! Then, tell me what you think.

Do the numbers add up?

Okay, Math and I have never had a close and cozy relationship...I was really interested in the answers just flying out of the sky and hitting me in the head! This was cute...my engineer Loverbrains enjoyed it...but I will not be telling you Math is my favorite subject anytime soon...and Loverbrains will be helping the kids with Math.
In answer to your question yesterday...I am interested in the venue of teaching women (I already teach children)...but cannot tell how God would lead that to become a reality. I am in a church with a plethora of OLDER godly women (I have no opportunity) and as far as BSF is concerned (I'm in a massive group of 700-800)...I think that positions are invitation only. I went to the homiletics seminar (twice) and thoroughly enjoyed it...and was encouraged to use my group leader as a homiletics buddy...I don't know...God will lead, I guess!

WOW Cool! How's that for an intellectual answer?!! But God is so great, that is my response!!!

How much fun was that! I especially loved the dramatic music lol My goodness the person who figured that out must have a keen mind - thanks for posting that.

Bobbi: LOL, I'll bet Loverbrains really does love math! I enjoy it, but it's not my first love.

I'm pleased that others have noticed your leadership gifts too. And I'm glad you took advantage of the homiletics classes offered through BSF! Sounds like you'll be teaching Christian women some day... but yes, first, your kids!

(((Hugs))

A Stone Gatherer: "Wow, cool" is a perfectly good answer, LOL. Love your sense of humor, Kim!

Enjoy your weekend.

Shelley: Right, the music is something else, and something I would expect your musical soul to notice. ღ

Wow! That was really interesting! I do wonder how often we miss God's messages of love. Thanks for sharing! I'm going to be thinking about it for days ;)

I have the least mathematical brain in the universe but I can appreciate that and loved it. One of the preachers I listen to at night on christian radio is always speaking of the order that is built into the Bible and everything and while he loses me when he gets really mathematical ...again I can appreciate truth.
I am going to steal this one and pop it on my blog...to reach a different audience. Thanks.

lol....as soon as I saw the math thing I was like No way...i soooo don't do math. However my 2 daughters and hubby are math whizes....therefore I must show this to them....and nothing surprises me....God is so symmetrical...His Creation, etc. I can't WAIT to show this to my oldest math girl....she is actually gonna love this!!!!

Alicia: Thanks for watching, Alicia. Enjoy your thinking/mulling. Our God is so great! ღ

OzJane: I hear you! Some of us are "word smart" and others are "numbers smart." Sounds like your radio preacher is both, to some extent.

So happy you plan to share this clip with your readers!

Faith: Isn't it marvellous that God has created his body to reflect such a diversity of talent? Obviously your daughters have your DH's math ability. But they also reflect some of your gifts too. e.g. (dance/music).

((Hugs))
