Word-Filled-Wednesday: Isaiah 9:6

We're half way to Christmas! It won't be long (relatively speaking) before that joyous season will be upon us once again. O come, O come, Emmanuel. And ransom captive Israel. That mourns in lonely exile here. Until the Son of God appear... (I have soft spot for Christmas music. Do you?)

It's hard to believe how time SPEEDS up the older we get...I think ONLY 6 months till Christmas and my kiddos think, "UGH, 6 WHOLE months till Christmas!" Maybe for fun we should put on some Christmas tunes tonight and watch an old Christmas video...
Perhaps it will help us forget this 105 degree heat! :)

peace,
lori

Oh, yes, I LOVE Christmas music! Sometimes I listen to it randomly in the middle of the year!

The picture is beautiful, and I love those words about our Savior!

Well, now, my husband cut out a Family Circus cartoon long ago for me that has Dolly asking this question, "Is it a sin to play Christmas carols before Thanksgiving?" Grin.

I usually begin getting out my Christmas piano books in October. He says it drives him crazy, but secretly I think he kind of likes my quirks.

So halfway to Christmas? A soft spot for music? Oh, yeah!!

I love this scripture, and all things Christmas, including music.

I love the Christmas Hymns, especially Joy to the World, but our whole family loves the spin the Trans Siberian Orchestra puts on Christmas music.

Oh what a wonderful scripture! I love the many names of Jesus. May we let Him be all those things to us.

Happy WFW! and Merry Christmas ;)

but..I sure do love most xmas music and start playing it around Thanksgiving...lol....

Yes I am another who loves Christmas music. It's interesting how even atheists like Richard Dawkins like to sing Christmas carols.

Really Buffy? Dawkins likes Christmas carols? I became acquainted with him in the movie Expelled. His atheist viewpoint is hard to fathom.
