I wonder what that little guy is reading? What are your children reading right now?

My daughter reads anything about dogs! My son is reading a new Alex Rider book, some kind of kid spy thriller thing, and I am reading "Healing Stones" for a book club I am in. Love to READ! My son is alot like me. My daughter likes to read, but not as much as the two of us, and my husband will take a year to read a book!

Good picture and reminder.......we can never read too much to our kids nor let them see us reading...and reading a real book.
the ex teacher talking here...lol.
Alas my four footed furry does not read so I cannot share what my child reads.......

Super picture! I agree we can NEVER EVER read to much to our kids! My daughter loves to read. Daddy & I have enjoy the adventures in the books just as much as she does.

Happy 2010!!

Happy New Year E-mom!

Great scripture and oh so true.

My grands LOVE for me to read to them.

Now we do a lot of princess stories since I didn't get to read these to my sons.

They love the Gigi series too.

Blessings to you this WFW!!!

Hi e-Mom, Tommy is thrilled that you posted his photo of him and his dad here :) He gave out a gurgling laugh when I showed it to him, lol.

Anyway, he was reading Down At The Shore by Satanta C. Vonthron here while Warren was reading Total Depravity by Arthur Pink.

Awesome photo.

Right now, my kids are "listening" to me read aloud each evening "The Wind in the Willows." I love this book, so rich for kids and adults alike!

haha this started a fight in my family last week... they thought this was such a mean verse because that means it's your own fault if your kids turned out bad, instead of taking it as an encouragment! lol. Thanks for the giggle today! :p

Kim: "Healing Stones?" Do I sense a life theme here? e-Dad is like your DH... he'd rather listen than read. :~D

Mary Moss: You're a family of readers... wonderful.

Bobbi: Oh yes, do post your photo. :~D

Ozjane: So you're an ex-teacher? Your children must be well-educated then. :~D

Leonard Family: I love your enthusiasm for reading!

Chelle: Thanks!

Susan: Now we do a lot of princess stories since I didn't get to read these to my sons. I'll bet you do! What fun. :~D

Life's Journey: Blogging and reading at the same time... good for you and your son!

Cathy: Thanks my friend.

Whimsical Creations: So nice to meet you.

Roo: Thanks, my sweet friend.

Zhey Chua: Oh I'm so glad Tommy saw this! I just loved your photo and couldn't resist sharing it. Thanks for being there at the right moment with your camera. Nice to know the titles of the books they were reading!

Jennifer: I love love love the TWITW, especially the worship scene. Do you know it?

Amydeanne: Well, I never... LOL, OK, I can see how this verse could be intepreted that way... a VERY INTERESTING twist!
