Information for Newcomers
If you're brand new to Chrysalis, allow me cover some of the basics. We usually meet the first Monday of the month. However, we're meeting one week earlier this month in order to avoid Labor Day vacation conflicts (US & Canada).
How to Participate
Here's your opportunity to jump in and share your parenting wisdom. Power up your laptop, post your thoughts on today's topic, then come back here and leave your permalink in Mister Linky. After you've done that, take some time to visit a few of the other contributors. You can return in a day or two and visit additional linkers if you wish.
Make New Friends
Everyone loves comments, so please be generous and sprinkle your remarks around as you visit blogs. I guarantee you'll make some new blogging friends, and perhaps connect with a few old ones too. You may be suprised to learn that the Marriage Monday community is a very diverse group of joyful Christian women. We are old, young, seasoned, newlywed, remarried and spiritually unequal.
Suggestions for Writing Your Post
If you run in to "blogger's block" and find you're at a total loss for words, consider jump-starting your writing by expanding on one or more of the following ideas:
• What are you teaching your daughter about love and marriage?
• What was your mother’s best marriage advice to you?
• What valuable truths have been passed on to you by your mother-in-law?
• Where can daughters go for relationship counsel when Mom is unavailable?
Please feel free to share your thoughts in any format you wish. Prose is common, but you could create a photo essay, or a song, a video, or poem. You have every freedom to create a post that you know would be speak to your regular readers, as well as be interesting to our Marriage Monday community.

I always love to be part of this tradition of Marriage Monday. I especially had a great time thinking about all the hilarious, fun and serios conversations I have had about marriage with my daughter.
