If you're planning to visit Norfolk, England this summer you might want to allow time to visit Alan Garrard's 1:100 scale model of Herod's Temple. A retired farmer, Garrard (78) has spent the last 30 years constructing his version of the ancient Jewish structure which stood in Jerusalem during Jesus' day.

I like his comment that the other models he had seen were rubbish, so he decided he would do better.
What an amazing building the Temple must have been. I hope his model lasts longer than the real thing.
That is way cool! Now another one I really would like to see is the Milleniel Temple from Ezekiel. I'm thinking that would be even more beautiful!
