Winner Once again, my heartfelt thanks go out to every blogger who contributed a post to the Valentine's edition of Marriage Monday.
Valentine's Day can be a delightful, fun, and memorable day for couples... or it can be time of stress and unfulfilled expectations. No doubt, we've all tasted both sides of the equation.
Most of us stayed on topic and dealt with the positive aspects of this holiday, but a few of us mentioned the disappointing realities. Thanks for being so encouraging to one another in your comments.
May we look to the Lord Jesus for the "meat and potatoes" of our self-esteem, while respectfully teaching our husbands about our very real emotional needs for romantic love and affection.

Speaking of chocolate kisses, did you catch Shelley's amazing Valentine's tip? A young pastor's wife at Living Beyond Myself, she wrote:
"Last year I covered his office floor with Hershey's Chocolate kisses and I left a BIG sign in the middle of his office floor that read 'I KISS the ground you walk on.'"
What man wouldn't feel tickled and honored by that thoughtful gesture? This year, I'm going to try it.

Thank you for posting this, I missed it. This is something I can have the boy's do on Thursday evening. They can put the kisses down by my husband's side of the bed before my daughter-in-law picks them up. Way cool!
