You were on His heart.
When He left his home in heaven. He saw you;
When He became a man on earth. He was seeking you;
When He stretched out his hands upon the cross. He was reaching out to you;
When He returned to his Father, He was preparing a place for you.
You are the sheep he has come to shepherd, to guide, to fee, to protect, to shelter and to carry.
You are the one He calls His own.—Roy Lessin, Co-founder of Dayspring

I think for me this verse reminds me of my favorite vacation spot. Just being Up North and looking out over Lake Michigan, I get a peace that I really can’t explain. I guess I almost feel the Lord’s presence. When I am beside the still waters my spirit is still. My soul is quiet.
For me:
A big, content **sigh**........
Beautiful.
**big hugs**
It makes me know that I am secure and loved. :) Thanks for sharing this e-mom. Hugs.
To me this is comforting to read not only because it speaks to my heart of His love for me but also because I can change the "you" to my sisters name.
Millie was on His heart. When He left His home in heaven, He saw Millie....
He is an incredibly loving LORD and I am thankful that He allowed me to understand His Love.
lori, kristy, sarah, connie marie: Thanks for your sharing your thoughts today. :~)
That is SO beautiful...just what I needed today. Thanks a bunch. Love coming here. Now that the wedding is over, maybe I can get back to normalcy. Uh...wait a minute. Who's normal anyway? LOL....
Blessings,
Vicki
this is the line that gets my heart -- everytime -- no matter how many times i have read it,
"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil, for You are with me;"
ahhhh, rest in the nest!
I love the imagery. I am a huge fan of poetry, and in my mind, this is one of the best!
I think the audio/visual is beautiful.
The 23rd Psalm has always been a great comfort in stressful time for me, especially:
'Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
your rod and your staff, they comfort me.'
I recite this quite often when I am afraid.
Thank you so much for sharing.
Blessings to you and yours.
eph2810: I'm so pleased you enjoyed the AV clip. I remember those important lines too, when I'm afraid. :~)
Psalm 23 is the very first passage of Scripture I ever memorized (as a child) and I have loved it all my life. Blessings!
vicki: You will definitely enjoy your free time, now that the wedding is over. We're anticipating one in our family in the next 18 mos... I'm excited, but dreading it too. :~)
